This course, led by Dr. Carolina Silva and Dr. Gustavo Torres, examines the science behind the Fagron Nutrigen test, focusing on the clinical and genetic aspects of obesity. Dr. Silva, a pediatrician with extensive research in early life cardiovascular disease, will explore the clinical implications of obesity, including its global prevalence, classifications, underlying mechanisms, health consequences, and treatment options. Dr. Torres, a pharmacist with expertise in genetics and biotechnology, will explain the genetic factors involved in obesity and analyze the NutriGen test results.

The course is based on a recent publication in Frontiers in Nutrition, which will serve as a foundation for the discussions.
